We’ll start this week’s recap off by letting you know this week’s game has a little bit of history to it. You have to go back to 2009 — Nick Saban’s first National Championship season — to find a year where Alabama had more than one game kick off before noon. That season had three — North Texas, Kentucky, and Chattanooga — with the game against Kentucky as the lone road game.
This week? The SEC contest is the road game again as the Crimson Tide (5-0, 2-0 SEC) tees it up at 11 a.m. in Fayetteville against Arkansas (1-4, 0-2 SEC) as a 35-point favorite on ESPN.
What happened this week in Alabama football? Welp, there’s more Tua love, more on the defense and — oh yeah — Nick Saban doesn’t like the fact that the student section was half empty against a 49-point non-conference underdog with an 11 a.m. start.
