Alabama has 6 finalists at College Football Awards Show

There will be a heavy Alabama presence at the annual college football awards show in Atlanta on Dec. 6.

There are six Crimson Tide finalists with Quinnen Williams and Tua Tagovailoa up for two awards. The show airs live on ESPN from the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. Most of the major honors are handed out there two days before the Heisman ceremony in New York.

The Alabama players who’ll be in Atlanta for the awards show:

Maxwell Award (national player of the year)

— Will Grier, West Virginia

— Kyler Murray, Oklahoma

— Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama

Chuck Bednarik Award (national defensive player of the year)

— Josh Allen, Kentucky

— Christian Wilkins, Clemson

— Quinnen Williams, Alabama

Biletnikoff Award (outstanding receiver)

— Andy Isabella, Massachusetts

— Jerry Jeudy, Alabama

— Tylan Wallace, Oklahoma State

Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award

— Gardner Minshew II, Washington State

— Kyler Murray, Oklahoma

— Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama

Outland Trophy (best interior lineman)

— Christian Wilkins, Clemson

— Jonah Williams, Alabama

— Quinnen Williams, Alabama
