Alabama will be without its top cornerback for the rest of the season.
Trevon Diggs, who suffered a broken foot against Arkansas on Saturday, is expected to be out 4-6 months and won’t be back this season, sources told AL.com.
Diggs is set to undergo surgery on Friday, per sources.
It’s a significant loss for the Crimson Tide.
In his first season as a starter, Diggs had been establishing himself as one of the SEC’s top cornerbacks.
Through six games, the junior had 20 tackles, an interception and a team-high six pass breakups.
