ESPN Analyst Thinks Jalen Hurts “Sweepstakes” Could Be Down To 2 Schools

The college football season came to an end earlier this week with a dominant performance from the Clemson Tigers over the Alabama Crimson Tide in the national title game. A few days later, Jalen Hurts’ name popped up in the transfer portal, suggesting the star quarterback is exploring a transfer from the Tide.

After Tua Tagovailoa won the starting job, everyone expected Hurts to move on from the team eventually. That time appears to have come, with one year of eligibility left, it looks like Hurts wants to start for a team.

So, where will he go?

Well, after the latest transfer news, one ESPN analyst thinks the Hurts “sweepstakes” is down to two programs: Miami and Oklahoma.

Kyler Murray’s backup at Oklahoma this season, Austin Kendall, put his name in the transfer portal which led to rumors that the Sooners might be focusing their attention on landing Hurts.

Meanwhile, Miami secured former Alabama quarterbacks coach Dan Enos as the team’s offensive coordinator. Enos worked closely with Hurts during the 2018 season and could lure the Alabama transfer to play for the Hurricanes.

Stay tuned for the latest transfer news.
