National Signing Day has come and gone, and with the help of a few significant commitment flips, there was some movement at the top of the Class of 2019 pecking order.
On Wednesday afternoon, ESPN released its ranking of the top 5 recruiting classes of 2019.
The SEC was very heavily represented as Alabama, Georgia, and Texas A&M took the top three spots, respectively.
Jim Harbaugh had a good recruitment period as his Michigan team came in fourth, while Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal was the best in the west as the Ducks came in fifth.

SEC dominance in the recruiting ranks is nothing new, but the fact that Alabama and Georgia – already two of the top-five teams in college football – were able to augment their ranks with the best collection of players in the nation indicates that they’ll probably be the teams to beat for a long, long while.
The list only slightly differs from 247Sports‘ ranking, as the LSU Tigers were ranked No. 4 on that list while the Wolverines were ranked No. 7.
