Alabama takes on The Citadel this Saturday – which means the Crimson Tide will likely move to 11-0 by the end of the weekend. After that, things change. Alabama gets Auburn in the Iron Bowl to finish the regular season and Georgia in the SEC title game.
This year’s contest against in-state rival Auburn will be played on November 24 at 3:30 PM ET. It will be broadcast on CBS, per usual. A victory over the Tigers could ensure Alabama a spot in the Playoff – so long as they aren’t blown out by Georgia a week later.
Auburn, meanwhile, will likely come in with a 7-4 record after a meeting with Liberty this Saturday. The Tigers will be looking to improve their bowl resume – and of course knock off their rival and ruin their season.
While Alabama won the national title last year, it was actually Auburn that won the Iron Bowl, 26-14. In fact, if Auburn had won the SEC title game against Georgia, they might have kept Alabama out of the College Football Playoff.
Auburn-Alabama game at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 24 is scheduled for an 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff.

This year’s contest will be a home game for Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Alabama, at the moment, is the No. 1 team in the College Football Playoff rankings. That likely will not change if the Crimson Tide wins their final three games.
At the moment, the Crimson Tide would be joined by Clemson, Notre Dame and Michigan. But there’s a lot of football to be played.
