It’s looking like Alabama may be without one of its wide receivers against Tennessee.
DeVonta Smith, who suffered a hamstring injury versus Missouri last week, hasn’t been able to practice this week and remains questionable for the Tennessee game on Saturday, Nick Saban said Wednesday night.
Through seven games, the sophomore is tied for second on the team with 21 catches, is second with 409 receiving yards and has three touchdowns.
“You never know how hamstring injuries are going to respond and how fast guys will be able to recover,” Saban said Monday. “At his position, you probably have to be pretty full-speed to be able to play. We’ll have to play that day to day.”
