Tennessee’s reward for snapping its 11-game SEC losing streak by upsetting then-No. 21 Auburn is a home game against top-ranked Alabama.
The Crimson Tide will go for their 12th consecutive win in the Third Saturday in October rivalry against the Vols at Neyland Stadium (3:30 p.m., CBS).
The defending national champions, Alabama leads the nation in scoring (53.6 points per game) and has beaten every opponent its faced this season by at least 22 points, while Tennessee earned its first signature win under Jeremy Pruitt by winning 30-24 at Auburn a week ago.
Alabama is a 28.5-point favorite in a game with an over/under of 57 points, according to VegasInsider.com.
The GoVols247 staff already has gone on the record with its predictions for Tennessee’s game against the Tide, but picking the final score doesn’t exactly tell the entire story.
With that in mind, here are two bold predictions each from Patrick Brown, Wes Rucker, Ryan Callahan and Grant Ramey explaining what they think will happen in Saturday’s game.
