Owner of LSU fan viral death stare vs. Alabama comes forward

There wasn’t much for LSU Tigers football fans to smile about during a 29-0 defeat to the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday. The crowd was raucous inside Tiger Stadium, but the Alabama fans were the only ones cheering by the end.

Still, LSU head coach Ed Orgeron was complimentary of the energy from Tigers fans.

“What a great crowd, a great Tiger walk I want to thank our fans,” Orgeron said Monday. “Tremendous atmosphere. They did everything that we asked them to do. I was very proud of our fans and the Tiger walk and the whole atmosphere of going into the game.”

Even though LSU lost, a Tigers fan has become the lasting image of the game. LSU student Kaileigh Thomas was captured on one of the sky cams during the CBS broadcast.

Thomas’ death stare, with Alabama ahead 22-0 in the third quarter, quickly went viral on social media. Before she knew it, Thomas had turned into the next college football meme. The LSU fan soon realized her Internet fame shortly after the game, and she took to her Twitter account to interact with people who played a part in her piercing look going viral. The official LSU Twitter account even got into the action.
