Will we see any drama in Tuesday night’s third College Football Playoff rankings reveal?
After very little fluctuation in this week’s Coaches and AP Polls near the top following a weekend free of major upsets, chances are the Top 4 will hold serve heading into a pivotal Week 12 for two of the nation’s four remaining unbeatens.
Top-ranked Alabama and No. 2 Clemson should have no issues with The Citadel and Duke, respectively, but Notre Dame and UCF could have their hands full vs. Syracuse and Cincinnati. The Knights, riding the nation’s longest winning streak, will have the pressure of the national spotlight too with College GameDay in Orlando for their primetime showdown.
The selection committee does have some decisions to make following Kentucky’s slide at Tennessee and Syracuse’s impressive victory over Louisville. The Orange should move closer to the Top 10, just in time for their matchup with the Irish at Yankee Stadium.
