It’s the sophomore year of the Early Signing Period in college football and, just like in the 2018 class, there’s no shortage of recruiting drama to track as we close in on Dec. 19.
The only difference this time around is the Crimson Tide has a commanding lead on the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings ahead of Georgia, whereas last year it was the Bulldogs that held the top spot as the Tide went on to sign the No. 5 class in the country.
But there is still time for that to change in the 2019 cycle, as Kirby Smart and his staff currently have 19 commitments on board, with the Dawgs continuing to pursue several other major targets, most of which that will announce on or by next Wednesday before signing early.
Here, Dawgs247 takes a look at several notable Georgia targets that could conceivably join the Dawgs’ class by next week (of course, not every single one of them will), and we also take a look at all the Georgia commits that are currently planning to sign early, on the fence or plans to make it official come February.
