The yoeman’s work for the 2019 class is done with nearly all of the schools signing the majority of their classes during Wednesday’s first day of the Early Signing Period.
Alabama sits atop the industry-generated 247Sports Composite team rankings followed by Georgia, Texas A&M, LSU and Oregon, but recruiting is far from over the cycle.
The early window closes Friday evening, and then there is a dead period for a few weeks before the recruiting frenzy kicks into high gear on Jan. 11 as the contact period starts back up and the race to Feb. 6 and the traditional signing period hits full speed.
In the East Region, there are plenty of high-caliber prospects still unsigned, including prospects committed to schools such as Alabama and Ohio State, and a number of other prospects with offers from the likes of Penn State, Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Florida, USC and a host of other schools.
