One of Alabama’s upcoming opponents is now in the top-five.
After beating then-No. 2 Georgia on Saturday, LSU is up to No. 5 in both the AP poll and the Amway Coaches Poll.
So, if the Tigers beat No. 22 Mississippi State this week, it will be a top-five matchup when the Crimson Tide faces the Tigers Nov. 3.
Alabama is still at No. 1 in both polls after its 39-10 win over Missouri Saturday night.
The Tide received 60 of the 61 first-place votes for the AP poll. No. 2 Ohio State got the only other first-place vote.
