What Alabama, Oklahoma Players Are Getting As Bowl Gifts

Playing for the chance to reach the national championship is already an amazing opportunity in itself, but it turns out that Alabama and Oklahoma will also earn free gifts for their berth in the College Football Playoff.

According to NCAA rules, bowl committees are allowed to provide each team with gifts totaling a combined maximum value of $550. Sports Business Daily took the time to compile a list of gifts for every game, which features apparel, electronics and gift cards.

While the Crimson Tide and the Sooners prepare for battle, the two programs will receive a generous assortment of gifts for their bowl game.

Oklahoma and Alabama will get a gift suite, a Tourneau watch, a personalized bobblehead of each student-athlete and a sling bang.

Out of all the gifts they’ll receive, it’ll be hard to beat the personalized bobblehead.

The Sooners and the Crimson Tide will face in the Orange Bowl on Dec. 29 at Hard Rock Stadium.

Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
