The foundation of any successful college football program is built through recruiting and with the Early Signing Period only days away, many of the nation’s top teams are in reload mode and anxious to hear from the next crop of stars making their way down the talent pipeline.
Nearly one-third of 2019’s Top 25 players nationally per the 247Sports Composite rankings haven’t committed yet, leading to several intense recruiting battles down the stretch between notable recruiting behemoths.
As it stands Alabama currently sits No. 1 nationally, just ahead of Georgia and Texas A&M inside the Top 5. Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide have secured verbal commitments from two five-stars and are hoping to land a few more. The Bulldogs lead all programs nationally with four five-star commitments at this time.
